Brian Flemming on the radio this morning–download

Filed under:Media Coverage — posted by admin @ 8:44 am

Download the file here. There is a short follow-up interview with Brian Sapient of the Rational Response Squad also on that audio file. Brian and Brian discuss KVI host Kirby Wilbur’s confession that he cancelled the Friday appearance because he didn’t want to put Brian Flemming on his show on Good Friday, not because of “breaking news” that suddenly evaporated. (That was the previous story.)

The show this morning was surprisingly non-combative, and Kirby Wilbur did not allow any call-ins. He seemed to want to get it over with ASAP.

This Christian apologist has not heard of the Gideon Society:

Were Christians to place pro-Jesus propaganda on private property, they would be shut down in a second, blasted by the media, and trailed by the American Civil Liberties Union.

There is a comments section.

Unitarians also have some thoughts.

The zombie has flown into the air, to leave us alone until he comes back in December as a baby. (Which, come to think of it, means God raped Mary a couple weeks ago. UPDATE: A comment informs us that the zombie will actually be walking among us for 39 more days. Keep an eye out. Also, Mary may actually have been raped by an angel, armed with God’s semen. Don’t be shocked. In myth, gods rape humans all the time. Christianity didn’t invent it, just borrowed it.)

PZ Myers: Easter mourning.

Flashback: The first mission.

In case you missed it: Major operation.

In case you missed it: Arnold Schwarzenegger gets a flyer.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX: Case of 30 DVDs

Filed under:Battle Reports — posted by admin @ 4:11 pm

A Texas operative writes:

I distributed most of a case (30) DVDs. We hit 4 church yards and a YMCA. Each of those locations have historically had Easter egg hunts around them.

I could probably say a bunch, but the pictures pretty well speak for themselves. I only got one picture at the Evangel Temple church (my last stop) because using having the camera flash going off repeatedly at that location just wasn’t ’stealthy’ enough. Using a flash at night, just isn’t very stealthy at all. For the other stops, it didn’t matter and we just flashed away.

The guy in the jeans is my step son, the guy in the shorts is me.

WASHINGTON: Persistence pays

Filed under:Battle Reports — posted by admin @ 3:59 pm

Anonymous Operative writes:

After hearing about the war on Easter from the Rational Responders I decided to try my hand at helping. After 3 failed daytime attempts to plant some flyers (failed because the second I walked in the church I was swarmed with people trying to get me to come to the church on a regular basis) I went on a nighttime mission. Though I was not able to get into the church I was able to put some flyers up and around the church.

Pictures.
