ALTA LOMA: Successful mission
“Born Right The First Time”:
I never really noticed before, but there are churches absolutely everywhere! Being otherwise gainfully employed, my team (actually my brother and I) couldn’t get out to them until Easter Sunday itself. Boy, were they crowded with worshipers. Knowing how physically violent persons of faith can sometimes be, and not at all interested in an altercation, we were forced to abort the mission until later in the day. This enabled us, along with our family to enjoy a wonderful spring repast on the patio before recommencing our operation. Then, suitably fortified, we began anew. Ultimately, my brother was able to plant both flyers and a DVD at a Catholic church. I am sure that he will send in his own story and pictures (which I was gracious enough to take). Unfortunately, my objective was then relegated to a secondary target (see the picture). Although the Catholic church was locked up tight as a drum, my target, according to the sign, was open to all comers, up to and including Jesus himself (in mid-afternoon the parking lot was full). We wandered around surreptitiously for what seemed like an eternity in a labyrinth of hallways, staircases, and rooms, looking for a bulletin board or similar place to leave our messages. None was to be found, but ultimately, behind one of the doors, we found a library where I was able to successfully plant numerous flyers and a DVD. Mission accomplished!
